Corona: That's why PM Narendra Modi extended lockdown till May 3 instead of April 30

Prime Minister Narendra Modi last announced a 21-day lockdown in the country, whose period is ending today.
But today in his address to the nation, he has extended the lockdown period for another 19 days. Before his address, there were speculations to increase the lockdown, as it happened.

However, many people are surprised by how Prime Minister Modi has implemented the lockdown of 19 days.
It is neither one week nor two weeks nor the end of the month.
Everyone is wondering why the lockdown has been extended till May 3 instead of April 30.

We tell you the reason for this.

According to government sources, the decision to extend the lockdown till May 3 is not by the central government but by the state governments.
The states had suggested that the lockdown should be extended by May 3.
The central government only wanted to increase the lockdown till 30 April but one May is Labor Day holiday followed by two May on Saturday and three on Sunday.
In such a situation, the states proposed to extend the lockdown by three more days.

Many people can argue that what will happen in the last three days, which has not been done in the last 21 days or cannot happen in 16 days.
Actually, in the case of corona, it takes 7 to 14 days to show its symptoms.
In such a situation, if three more days are added to these 16 days then we will get 19 days.
Which will make the corona virus picture clear.

Indian Railways also announced the cancellation of passenger trains by May 3, which has worried many. Only goods trains are being run. In such a situation, many people are trapped in different parts of the country and want to reach their homes, but there is no means of this. Therefore, millions of people are waiting for trains to run.
